This summer my husband and I will be spending a little time in Wales as part of a larger UK trip. I have 3 castles on my list, Conwy, Caernafon, and Beaumaris. We're trying to figure out if it's worth it to visit all 3 or if that would be too much of the same. If you were going to visit only two of those, which would you choose?

All three are so near each other it would be really simple to visit all 3 (depending on where you are staying)

If I simply had to choose 2 out of the three it would probably be Conwy and Caernafon (although ANY pair would be great)

I, too, would choose Conwy and Caernafon, and base in Conwy. Beaumaris is a perfectly designed defensive castle - when seen from the air. It was never finished. This was my report on it: https://mytimetotravel.wordpress.com...he-great-orme/

Ditto what was said above; definitely try to see all three as they are enough different to warrant the effort.
