I would not recommend any street in Naples for sleeping

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Piazza Bellini in Naples' Centro Storico. It was close to the Archeological museum which is worth a visit.
I wouldn't call the streets of Naples cozy though, more gritty.

Google Medea B&B for its exact location, or click on the picture and then the click on the map that is part of the info for that picture.

Better yet, go to the B&B's web page: http://www.bebmedea.com/camere.html

Do you mean you actually want to sleep in the street or do you want suggestions of places to stay that are located on charming streets?

Naples is not the “quaint and charming” city that you find elsewhere in Italy. It has a lot of character and is a fascinating place, but as someone else has said, it’s on the gritty side. If you want “cozy” streets, you’ll need to go elsewhere. But it’s got much to offer if you do go.

Hotels, guest houses and b&bs near the port may be less gritty but I think this area is less convenient to sightseeing.

We’ve been twice and love it. We stayed both times at Hotel Piazza Bellini, which is an excellent hotel, conveniently located for sightseeing and near the Dante stop on the metro.

We, too, really enjoyed the Hotel Piazza Bellini. It is on a busy street but has a lovely courtyard where you can have breakfast, enjoy a drink or just relax. I have a special memory of that courtyard as my husband and I were sitting there when our daughter and her boyfriend called and announced their engagement.

Casa D’Anna
VIA DEI CRISTALLINI 138
we stayed there in May and the location is good to walk to many areas. Like others have said it is gritty but we felt safe.

We stayed at Smart Hotel at the port. Not cheap but quiet, safe and has a great location.

In Naples we stayed at Napoli City Rooms. It is near the central station, which is not an excellent area, although we were very well connected. A room with balcony cost us 60€ per night.
