Grove Park Inn - Asheville - rooms

What is some feedback on the hotel rooms at Grove Park Inn. Are the historic inn rooms nice to stay in? Are they charming? Do they all have a view.

We stayed in one of the old rooms at this beautiful hotel. Used a small elevator (not self service), The room was very spacious, lots of Art Deco feel and beautiful woodwork. Bathroom was fine. We overlooked the main drive into the hotel, but had plenty of woodsy view as well. Windows open to smell that wonderful mountain air.

Best part, aside from dinner on the patio, was sitting in the rocking chairs in front of the giant hearth, enjoying a drink.
