holiday to colombia, argentina, peru or chile?

ive never traveled to South America.

traveled a lot to asia but im tired of it.

i prefer to stay in capital city because I am a city person.

what is the difference in these places? prices, cultural, ethnic, etc.
is it safe?

Ever though about buying a guide book or maybe borrowing one from a library? They have all sorts of great information.

Probably don't have pricing for what the OP was really seeking (deleted inappropriate comment). I imagine they (he) has already been to Thailand, the Phillipines, etc.

These 3 places are beautiful in their own ways. My personal favourite is Argentina. I've just never found people and culture like that anywhere else (and the food is simply brilliant!). I recommend to visit Argentina, since you're a city person go to Buenos Aires. There are a lot of great activities and places there. To make the most out of your trip, get to know the culture and their traditions, perhaps with a day tour of polo, mate and asado (I did mine in Argentina Polo Day a couple of years ago and enjoyed it very much).

However, if you choose this country and since you're already traveling there do not miss any of the other places it has to offer. They are more on the nature side, not so much city kind of stuff but not for nothing is Argentina known as the country of all the climates. You have snowy mountains in the Patagonia, city beaches on the coast and some others to go whale watching, tropical climates in Misiones, and colorful mountains in the north.

Good luck with your trip!
