Road Trip; Long Beach, Nevada, Arizona, Utah

We secured a weekly Budget Car rental at a good price, took off on a Monday....
Night One: checked into Hampton Inn, Henderson, Nevada - then dinner with a dear family member who relocated out there
...in the morning we were off to the Grand Canyon
Night Two: checked into Best Western Premier Squire Grand Canyon, Tusayan - perfect location just outside entrance of Grand Canyon, we arrived in time to go to different view points, explore Hermits Ridge, see sunset at the rim. This night we picked up dinner from Wendy's and ate in our room
...in the morning, breakfast from McDonald's in Tusayan and off to Monument Valley (fasted way to night three was through the Grand Canyon so we got to enjoy different view points that we had not previously explored and 91.3 tuba city Navaho radio station along the way
Night Three: checked into The View Hotel, Monument Valley (TVH) - our room had a VIEW that did not disappoint, it was GORGOUS! We picked up dinner at Amigo Café (Beef and Chicken Enchiladas; Navaho Taco and Pozole) We ate dinner in our room
...in the morning the TVH hosted a complimentary continental breakfast which was appreciated. then off for the 17 mile drive in red rock formations. different locations along the drive gave us an opportunity to horse back ride, lots of photo opps, native American jewelry. We did not ride horses so I am not sure if you have to pre-book

Then we drove back through Flagstaff, Needles and finally home

This trip was a great opportunity to see natures beauty

note:
Before we left we were sure to have the senior National Park Pass
When we showed our disability placard at the Grand Canyon gate we were given access to a private road
