Hawaii in September
#2
I am not sure which ones are up and running again because of Covid Pandemic restrictions earlier. But typically there are quite a few places to see performances of Hawaiian music and dance around Waikiki. Royal Hawaiian Center has a free stage, the Hula Mound at Kuhio Beach, IMP, Ala Moana Center to name a few.
Plus check who is playing where/when at clubs like The Blue Note. Tiki's, Lewers Lounge, Duke's, under the Banyan Tree at Moana Surfrider Hotel, Mai Tai bar at Royal Hawaiian. I can't guarantee where specifically you will find slack key guitar being played, but could be at any of these music venues
Honolulu Star Advertiser is the name of the daily paper, that's another good resource to see what's on where.
