I just read an article today which noted Cuba has developed a three shot vaccine not yet approved by the WHO and is sending it to VN and Venezuela.
How effective and safe it is remains to be seen but hopefully it will work to help stop the spread of this pandemic. If so things will open up. lets keep our fingers crossed.

Saigon is opening back up on October 1st
Good news!!!
From Oct 1st all the restrictions are loosen up. Being vaccinated and negative Covid test are required so people can go back to work, school. Shouldnt be long until you can visit

NOT good news ! around 15 000 new cases a day (but out of 98 million people), so, it all depends where you go; Hanoi Danang-Hoi An and Saigon/Phu Quoc are open, but no cruises yet in Halong Bay and, anywhere else, it depends strictly on the LOCAL authorities, so Sapa is wide open but beautiful Babe Lake is close to tourists; therefore, you have to check before you go anywhere
