Dinosaur Park in Laurel, Maryland

Heard an archeologist speak today about sites in Maryland and she mentioned the above-titled venue. The speaker (not a paleontologist) said they invite the public to help dig on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month. Sounded interesting and fun. Here's the link in case you are in the area:

Good to know about, Tdudette. I've never been to Laurel, but now I have a reason to go.

I heard about Laurel all through my childhood since my grandparents loved to go to the races--Charlestown, Laurel, and Bowie were frequent day trips. He would bet and she'd read a newspaper and eat pizza.

Thanks, Coquelicot. I don't know the status of Md. horseracing these days. I believe "they" are trying to move the Preakness there from Baltimore.
