Thalys Train (Paris to Amsterdam) Covid Test?

I am a U.S. citizen/Fully vaccinated and boosted...

My husband and I are flying to Paris on March 6 for 4 nights and then taking the Thalys train to Amsterdam.

Will we need a negative covid test to enter the Netherlands (March 10)?

One additional question... Seems like a European digital COVID certificate is required. I'm guessing my CDC card or Apple Wallet QR code won't satisfy this requirement? Looks like we will need to spend an additional 72 Euros in France to update our existing EU Covid Certificate with our 3rd booster shot (We have EU Covid passes from our November trip - prior to our booster).

You can try your CDC card, but the stated requirement is a pass vaccinal to board a TGV or Intercité train. The French pass vaccinal should be valid throughout the EU.

There are 3 pharmacies at CDG which can update your TousAntiCovid apps showing the booster shot.

And there are also pharmacies across from Gare du Nord.

heti, can you believe how fast things changed?!
My friend is there right now, house-sitting while they are off on a ski trip.
And MY trip was to be just as y'all went into lockdown.
Two trips = Jan and Feb. It's mind-boggling to me!

I know, it is amazing and a tad scary, but numbers are dropping, as are deaths, hospitalisation and IC cases. Here we are having a catch up with the rest of the country it seems after two years of low numbers Friesland now has the highest.
Once the weather brightens up and people can be outdoors more it will be fine I am sure.

We are flying from San Francisco to Scotland, with a plane change/layover of 3 hours in Amsterdam. We depart SFO on May 9 & land in Amsterdam on May 10. If I read the info on your link correctly - it seems that I need and antigen test on May 9 (day of departure) to get into Amsterdam (Scotland doesn't require one). Is that your understanding (as of today's '"rules")? I realize that gate agents at SFO will do the checking. Will anyone at passport control at AMS do checking also?

I am on the THALYS train now (march 10 - Paris to Amsterdam).

I was not asked for proof of vaccination or testing - only my train ticket.

in fact, we rarely needed to show proof of vaccination anywhere in Paris. When we were asked, our CDC card (picture on phone) was accepted. Don’t waste money getting an EU digital pass.
