26 days to and from Barcelona
Hi !
what would you do with 25-28 days with an arrival and a departure from Barcelona in july ?
1) we already been to Barcelona and catalonia 7 years ago so dont feel the need to stay there for more than 2-3 nights.
2) we would have car.
3) we are looking to escape heat a bit (yes Spain is not a good choice for that )
4) Pyrénées would be nice (we do love mountains sights) but where and how much time ?
thanks !

Have you already bought plane tickets?
My experience in Spain is just one trip, in March 2022, to Seville, Granada, and Cordoba and Castillo de Almodovar del Rio, in Andalucia in southern Spain, and Madrid and a day trip to Toledo. With extra days in Madrid I would have taken trips to Segovia and possibly Avila. As for climate, for comparison, before I got wiser and started researching the climate of places before buying plane tickets, I went to Rome and west-central Italy in July 2017. Check dateandtime.com for information on temperatures and weather in the last 10 years in various cities; pack a sunhat buy bottled water, carry a bottle with you.
