10 Days Paris - Amsterdam Help

Hello,

We are spending 10 days landing in Paris then flying from Amsterdam. Looking to spend some time site seeing and hitting some WWII sites through out our travels. Checking to see if someone can help us plan our travels to best maximize our time. We do want to spend a chunk in Belgium, understanding we need to cut some time down on Paris/Amsterdam as result. Here is kind of what we put together.
-Can we get from Normandy - Brussels by train without backtracking to Paris?
-When doing a Battle of the Bulge tour, is it better to go directly from Paris then to Brussels or Paris to Brussels then do a day trip from Brussels?
-Can we go from Ghent to Amsterdam without backtracking through Brussels/?
Sunday: Fly in to Paris
Monday: Paris - Bayeux, FR
Tuesday: Bayeux
Wednesday: Travel to Brussels
Thursday: Bostogne day trip
Friday: Brussels
Saturday: Ghent
Sunday: travel to Amsterdam
Monday: Amsterdam
Tuesday: Fly Home

Seems to me you would be better off flying home from Brussels.
You could get a train straight to Bayeux if Paris is is merely a landing point as you seem to be doing a lot of one night stays - you could also visit Ghent whilst staying in Brussels.
You don't want to visit the Normandy Landing beaches? If so you need more time there.
No mention of Brugge, which you could visit by dropping Amsterdam. one day in Amsterdam barely gives you time to do anything there.
Have you tried Rome2Rio for your travel? Also the SNCF and SNCB sites for train planning/pricing?

It was significantly less to fly out of Amsterdam v. Brussels. We most definitely want to do a guided tour from Bayeux to see the beaches and other historical museums/monuments. Any recommendations on a day tour for this? Also, is there a festival or celebration in that area on June 6 each year? Thanks for the travel recommendations.

Enough of a price difference to cover trains and hotels? Amsterdam is not cheap.
I still think you are trying to do too much in too short a time.
Will you have time for a visit to the Bayeux tapestry?
