Best island for a 25th birthday trip

Hi, I am planning a birthday trip in May. I’m having trouble finding an island that meets my needs. I want to go to an island that has great and not so typical excursions while still experiencing leisure and relaxing activities. It would be great if you guys had some suggestions, tips, or more info! Thank you!

If you can cite some examples of what you the term “great and not so typical excursions” mean to you it would help the responders on this forum give you meaningful suggestions. For what it is worth you can find “leisure and relaxing activities on any island. Tell us what you are really looking for in a Caribbean vacation.

I agree with RoamsAround - without some details, it's really hard to give you valid suggestions.
For what is worth, of all the islands I have visited, the Dominican Republic is my favorite. I think it has a little bit of everything to suit all preferences.

Jamaica is my favorite. But I've only been there and to USVI and Dominican Republic... in the Caribbean.

I agree a little more description of what you are after would be helpful What islands have you looked at that did not interest you?

WELCOME to Fodor's!
