Nova Scotia do PEI
Hello all!!
Planning a 6 week trip with friends to PEI and NS in August/September. We both have big RV’s (43 and 45 ft) which we will be traveling in. We both have cars that we tow behind as well.
We like to base camp and then explore in the tow cars. Here what I am thinking but would like some input if you have done this trip before.
PEI
1 week - Cavendish area
Southern NS
1 week - Hilden or Wolfsville, NS
1 week - Annapolis Royal
1 week - Lundenburg
1 week - Halifax area
Northern NS
1 week - North Sydney area
We like to hike, eat at good restaurants, explore the local culture and sightsee the beautiful area.
Wondering if we need another location in the northern NS area. Of course, we don’t want to drive the Cabot trail in our coaches but will explore in the cars. Also, wondering if there are any other routes we should avoid (like interior roads) and not drive in the coach? Would appreciate if you have any thoughts on that as well
Thanks!!!

Did see this thread on PEI?
Halifax and PEI
If you have any questions after reviewing the thread let me know.
Most roads in PEI are single lane so using your car is a good idea. The time you plan to visit is perfect every thing will be open.
Enjoy
