travel in South Korea

I am planning our trip to South Korea but am having trouble finding information about intercity bus schedules. Is there a website where I can check frequency of buses to and from different cities? Thanks for any help.

I haven't checked lately, but you might consult rome2rio.com -- just be sure to click through to all the underlying sites, as the main web page is not sensitive to seasonal variation in schedules.

When I planned my trip, I found google maps surprisingly accurate, as long as you enter the date.

If you haven't seen my trip report, you might find some useful information in it:

This is a decent English language site that may help https://www.kobus.co.kr/main.do . The train system doesn’t go everywhere, but where is does go, it is worth considering as it is really quick and reasonably inexpensive. https://www.seat61.com/SouthKorea.htm

We didn’t get to see as mulch as we would have liked but what we did get around is covered in our blog @ https://accidentalnomads.com/category/asia/south-korea/

If you intend to travel a lot on buses and subways, then consider getting a T Money card which you can load up with cash and use to buy tickets on buses and subways, I think at a discount. You can also use it in convenience stores.
